starting problems

I  have 2 questions:  The spark from my coil wire is small and white.  Is
it supposed to be a fat blue spark?  What would be the problem?

Also,  2 of my plugs get real sooty and oily when I try to start the car. I
assume this means too much fuel in the cylinder, but I can't start the car
so its hard for me to adjust. I have the throttle all the way off as it is.
