I also had my rims re-rolled to get them as perfectly true as possible.
After 30 plus years, there were just a few too many minor kinks and buckles
in them which meant wheel balancing and alignment was always a hard job. I
would not have believed it if someone had told me that I would notice a
difference, but on my car, the difference was noticeable.

Subject: Blasting rims....
I want to sand/bead blast the rims for my '69 2000 and then get them
powder
coated.
Any suggestions on
1) places I should go in the San Jose, California area
2) things I should ask or look for when I find or call a potential
jobber?
Or... should I just buy new rims?
