Auto radios used to have trimmer capacitors to optimize the antenna
match. Pull the radio and see if you notice a small (match head sized)
"screw" that's labeled 'trim' or "ant". Could be about anywhere. Can't be
certain, but it's worth as look.
You usually need to tweek these with non metallic tools, available at
Radio Shack.
