Subject: 1999 event (kind of rambling, sorry)
Hi all. I've been quiet lately, kind of just glancing at the digests as =
I can, as I've been busy moving. I'm now in Alameda, CA - the land that =
time forgot.
One of better times I've had in my roadster was about 15 years ago, when =
I was invited to be in a 4th of July parade with the Modesto Roadster =
Group (sorry, I don't know an 'official' name if there is one). Lots of =
roadsters, going slow, being oogled.
I'd like to put a group together for this 4th of July, for the City of =
Alameda parade, if there is enough interest. I don't know what I have =
to do to get us in, but wanted to see if it would be just me before I =
dig into the process (I had visions of the wagontrain scene from Blazing =
Saddles).
