I've been off the list for awhile, but I just can't stay
away. <sigh> Maybe someday I'll have a job again and can
get a Roadster again...
Meanwhile, today I spotted 3 for sale in a field. They are
possibly restorable or parts cars. There are two '69s and a
'70. One round window hardtop and one trapezoidal window
hardtop. All are a little rough - the '70 does not appear
to
have a motor/transmission. Also some minor wrinkling of
front
fenders on the '70.
These are located near Winchester, California, about an hour
or so north of Les Cannady's place. South side of Hwy. 74
just 1 mile west of Hwy. 79 (Winchester Road). Sign in the
field gave a phone number for more information.

I hope someone can rescue these. If anyone wants to go see
them I'd be glad to play guide for you, or I could contact
the owner and take a closer look and report back. (I looked
them over from the edge of the highway, about 30 yards away)
I just want to see them running again!
