Flemming, you're good!

I *have* had email communications with Doug Davis, who
has record of when HE registered #1135 with John
Watson. Doug is also the one who installed the
outsized rims and tires ("for better performance")
which I will offer for sale or trade immediately I
take posession of the car.

I think the key might be the "frame" number which I
had a hard time reading. The details I've seen suggest
it's an actual S2 frame, certainly not Caterham.
Hopefully when I can take my own time to really
examine that little plate in front of the passenger
seat, I'll be able to figure out the complete correct
number.

So you *can* look up a frame number and see what "VIN"
(and specification) goes with it? I'll be VERY
interested in that!
