The unit I bought is a huge MAC (I think) socket, 3/4 drive, that's been milled out to slip over the knockoff ears and turn (that is, the slots are inverted T shape). The intent is that you can set the tightening torque accurately - it's something like 300 ft-lbs according to the Ferrari factory. Should be easy enough to make if you have a friend with a milling machine. If there was interest, I might be willing to make and sell a few through the Dimebank Garage. |
