The shade of BRG was dependent on the mood of the manufacturer and, in Colin Chapman's case, who had the cheapest price for paint. At one time he was using Valspar Battleship Green, which is still available. This was part of an advertising package paid by Valspar and featuring Lotus in various British auto magazine ads. |
