OKay,

1. FJ 20 gearbox:

800 mm long overall
735 mm to shifter
230 mm approx 'bellhousing' length
650 mm girth
740 mm pot belly girth approx 380 back from engine
545 mm from bellhousing to gearbox mount
starter/clutch fork RHS

2. Nissan 180B dogleg

800 mm long overall
750 mm to shifter
620 mm girth
690 mm pot belly girth approx 380 back from engine
535 mm from bellhousing to gearbox mount
starter/clutch fork RHS

Note - all lengths are to within about 10 mm. If you want more details, let
me know ASAP - FJ 20 is getting picked up Wednesday.

3.Toyota T-50

2Tseries engine gearboxes are 20 spline output shaft - 4AGE are 22 spline.
I assume they bolt to same bellhousings. I dunno if there are any internal
differences. I do not know about closer ratios - my box has a weird set
that I must figure out.

4. Caterham 6 speed

1150 pounds excluding VAT in 1995. I have no other details except is says
'Caterham 6 speed gearbox' and the cost is above the standard gearbox
cost.......... which i do not know.

5. Toyota W-50 box

Mine is alloy case, so I guess it is a W-55? If anyone wants the dimensions
give me a yell - I will measure it for you. Anyone know how to tell?
