Jay...My understanding of clutch chatter, which sounds like the right 
diagnosis, is that it is caused by oil seeping past the rear main oil seal and 
eventually making its way to the flywheel surface...thereby playing hell with 
the clutch plate surface interaction. Does your bellhousing/rear engine plate 
area have evidence of oil leakage?
