Pete, I have a couple of covers with the tall oil add tube and I plan to cut
out the center section anyway so I'll try removing the tube tomorrow by
heating. I'm going to try to replace the flat top section so I can ingrave
the TVR logo into the cover. I think die cast aluminum can be welded. Jon
