Might be time to talk with your local body shop.
time on a frame machine can be time/money well spent.

Subject: TR8 Subframe Bent? (longish)
I didn't tie it all together but I'm now thinking that all of
these problems are the result of the collision with the alleged dog.
<Snip>
But every problem sorted brings a new one to light. Even though the holes
for the engine mounts line up horizontally with the sub-frame mounting
points, they are about 1/4 to 3/8 too wide. The sub-frame looks pretty
stout but mine appears to have seen some rough service (remember the alleged
dog?) in it's time. Anyone ever seen a sub-frame bent? Also, does anyone
have a measurement of the distance from the left and right engine mounting
points on the sub-frame?
Cheers
Chris
