Rickard,
I don't think so, but you can always buy a pair, try them, let the group
know your results, and then return them if they don't fit. You can also
buy a gasket from each and see if the gaskets match. I know that Reel
Steel in the UK makes an adaptor so that Ford small-block rocker covers
fit. The other option would be to get a gasket from each of the valve
covers (one from buick, one from Pontiac and lay them on a piece of
paper and trace the outlines of both over one another and come up with
the shape of an adaptor plate.) This will raise the covers by 1/4" or
so, but that isn't bad. In fact, you need the extra room if you want to
use roller rockers.
It's a shame that there aren't more interchangeable parts for the
B.O.P.R like there are for the other GM and Ford products. There are a
bunch of UK and Austrailian specialists who make all kinds of trick
parts for the Rover engine, if you don't mind ordering by e-mail and
(possibly) paying the extra shipping.
Best of luck, welcome to the group, and let us know what you find out
about the Pontiac covers.
