Crankshaft question

Hi V8'ers,
In digging through the storage building, I have come across a 215 crank
that is marked "steel" in raised letters.  I had thought all 215 cranks
were cast iron.  Was the Jetfire crank steel?  I have several Jetfire
blocks, but did not remember haveing a Jetfire crank.
