Hey Alan et al... There are several 4-barrel manifolds available... From
the original Buick and Olds (different types) to Huffaker, Offy, and
Edelbrock... There is also a modernized Offy by John Wolfe(?)Racing is
it... I don't know much about the properties of running on LPG... I'm sure
manifold choice is important... I'm gonna guess the LPG works perfectly
well on a single plane... So you could use Traco(sp.?) or Huffaker... but
the fact is these are much more expensive than the others... The easiest
route has got to be the Edelbrock... HUGE company... I'm sure there parts
are available from any speed/hot-rod shop in Australia (even if by special
order)...Otherwise you could always mail order it from a place like Summit
Racing or Jeg's here in the USA... Holley makes 4v carbs in many sizes... I
used to run the 390cfm om my Buick (stock) and I ran up to a 600cfm on the
same motor modified... My Olds Jetfire (converted to 4v) ran a Carter (also
same as Edelbrock) 500cfm on a stock Buick manifold with an adaptor
plate... Holley also make a 475, but it has no choke provision... All the
carbs can be ordered from the same source given... The manifold runs about
$190 and the carbs about the same... Hope this helps... Mark in St. Louis
