Range Rover 4.6 efi heads

Has anyone on the list mated a set of recent Range Rover 4.6 efi heads,
manifold and efi setup onto a leyland 4.4 block ? I have been thinking
of getting a recent range rover V8 and transferring the relevant parts
under the bonnet of my P76. Is this going to be a major drama ? Am I
better off just fitting the whole 4.6 engine ? It looks complex wiring
wise, and that engine is designed around a 4X4 truck, not a luxury car.
