Forget both & use a 309 Holley or 400/500 Carter or 500 Edelbrock on a
GM or aftermarket manifold. With the Carter or Edelbrock, you can also
get a functional electric choke.

Woody Cooper @ the Wedge Shop told me he had a complete intake setup for
4 downdraft Delerto (sp?) carbs, including carbs & linkage if you want
to stand out from the crowd. The setup came off a TR8.
