I have just taken delivery of two Buick 215 V8's (disassembled) and want
to verify that the pieces are still usable. I know the bore is 3.5",
and I have specs on the rod bearing bores, but I can't find information
on the piston ring grooves. Does any body know where I might find the
spec dimensions for the ring grooves?
Also, I guess the piston wrist pin bore should have the same dimension
specs as the con rod?
I've also been told that 0.020" over is the most I could bore the
blocks, so I guess the bores must be round and less than 3.52" diameter.
