If you want to easily add horsepower to the numbers you are looking for, the
quickest way there is positive asperation. Namely a turbocharger. One
horsepower per cubic inch is the limit I put on most street engines, after
that a turbo or supercharger is needed. But thats just my opinion. I also
have a article in pdf format on getting 233 hp from a 3.5 litre N/A buick.
It gives you some good background as well. Its surprising how how easily
they attained the results they did. .
