Your best reference will be a book called:

The Original Triumph Tr: The Restorer's Guide to TR2, TR3, TR3A, TR4,
TR4A, TR5, TR250, TR6 (Hardcover)
by Bill Piggott (Author) & Paul Debois (Photographer).

It should have all the color combinations that were available, the paint
codes, etc. etc.  It should also tell wehre to check for numbers like the
body number.
