For me it started when we cut school and *stole* my best friend's
girlfriend's 1965 MGB (BRG and wire wheels) and drove out to Stinson
Beach over Mt Tamipalis, just north of San Francisco. Most fun I
ever had in a moving car! A couple of years later I bought a bugeye
Sprite for a few hundred dollars (yes it was a long time ago) and
went on to a succession of MG, TR, AH until the prices got a bit high
and so I've settle with a Lotus Elan.
