Larry & John, the largest "single marquee" car club in the world is the
"Model A Car Club of America", they have over 25,000 members, there are over
250,000 "A's" still being used/shown just in the USA, this does not count
how many are in use throughout the rest of the world, and please tell me
which car started all this "hot-rod" activity in the world, yep the Ford
Model "A", S.Calf. started fixing them up in the late 40's and it continues
right to this day, yet the model "A" is still the single largest antique car
club and show car in this country, so maybe some are fixing their cars as
they want to, this does destroy the hobbie or make it any less appreciated
or thin out the field of what remains of the marquee, they can still be put
back to original if one cares too, remember it was the factories that
started the racing craze with our cars and not the owners, as long as they
are still being looked after and still on the road regardless of show,
driver, racer as to how the owner sees fit, we all still benefir, it's the
ones rusting away in the parts yards where our concerns need to be, yep the
Ford model "A" started all this and I still love the heck out of mine as
well as my Spitfire and my 10,000 mile a year T/R 3A. just my .00002 worth.
