I had a somewhat different experience not long ago with an MGA wheel on
e-bay (just one as I recall). I ask the seller if the wheel would run
true, and the response was, "Please do not bid on this item", and I didn't,
but it was not removed from the auction. I think I pity the poor soul who
may have purchased it. >>
A while back, there was a Morgan on e-bay and a retired couple bid on it.
I contacted them to let'em know about the Morgan mailing list. They drove
quite a few hours with a trailer to pick up the car only to find when they
got there, that the bottom 12 or 18 inches of car was solid rust...Includ-
ing the mechanicals. The car had obviously been in a flood but this wasn't
mentioned in the ad.
