I usually use carburetor cleaner in a spray or liquid form. Regular lacquer thinner also works well. Once wet, brush with an old toothbrush or brass bristled brush. Finish off with very fine steel wool to bring up the luster (but be sure to blow or wash off all the fine bits of steel wool). Regards, Lew Palmer |
