The Solex MOV (155994) type carb, as fitted to my 1925 Alvis 12/50, has a
broken choke tube which connects the bottom half to the top half. It appears
to be made of cast aluminium or pot-metal. The rest of the carb is bronze.

Does anybody know of a Solex carb specialist, who might just have this part?
Alternatively, a new part may have to be machined. Any suggestions as to
appropriate material?

Any and all advice welcome!

With thanks and best regards,
