Trunnion Wear?

Okay trunnion experts, how do you tell when a trunnion is worn out?
Before I re-assemble my front suspension, I would like to know whether
the upper vertical link trunnions are in good enough condition to
re-use.  They seem okay to me, but I don't really know what to look for
or how or what to measure for wear.
