To the Net:
Several friends are working on the same TR-6 problem simultaneously, one on a
'73, the other on a '76. If there is anyone with experience in changing out
the differential pinion shaft seal for these cars, we'd appreciate your
input, as follows:
1. If the forward support is dropped, can the pinion seal be removed
without dropping the entire differential (assuming the driveshaft is
out of the way)?
2. What is the torque value of the pinion shaft nut?
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
