How about a "the most obscure car I've owned thread?" A Crosley is pretty
good, but from about 59-61 I had a '58 Goliath, which I would say trumps a
47 Crosley. Everybody is familiar with the Goliath, right?

Ray - We had a Lincoln-Mercury dealer in a town of just under 10,000
population. He sold quite a few Mercs but very few Lincolns even though
Cadillac did well in sales around that part of the country. Anyway,
someone loaded him up with a bunch of Goliaths, maybe a dozen. They stayed
in his showroom and on his lot for almost three years! I don't know if he
couldn't return them or what, but some salesman sure took that poor guy.
