door window seals

Just got my TR6 back from the shop after 11 months of painful waiting. The 
engine is rebuilt, half the body panels are new along with the paint. So beings 
the fun of reassembling the finishing details (dash, crashpads, windshield, 
bumpers 
etc...)
Does anyone have any advice about installing the door window seals? Special 
tools? Would it be any easier if I took the window out? Which should I do first 
, the inner or outer seal?
