Tips on replacing SU carb shaft bushings?

I need to replace the bushings on the SU carbs for my 68 MGB.
The carbs are in good shape except for the wear on the bushings.

I have the new parts (bushings, throttle shafts, etc.) from Moss
and have access to a machine shop.

Can someone who has rebushed an SU carb provide some suggested
procedures, tips, cautions?
