You mentioned this other book about tech articles that sounded similar to 
Norman Nock's "Tech Talk". Is this "A-Antics: Tech Tips" book about 
Spridgets? 
I found this "Tech Talk" really good, since this is the stuff that they 
don't mention in a manual or a review of a British car, e.g.
