Thanks for that info! I just reread it for the 2nd time and you have saved
me much skin from my knuckles. I have an added difficulty as I stated the
car is a bitza based on a Daimler V8 that I originally bought for the
chrome. This will give me some problems as the tunnel is a bit narrower. I
have a 3.4 from an S type to go into it figering it was better to do this
than fit something else. We already have a V8 as a "classic" and do not
feel it can be used as an every day car.
I was considering fitting a Jag box but again it means we potentially will
have spares and age problems.
Have you heard of anyone fitting XJ6 stearing racks to Mk2?
