The man stands before the group of people he appears to be nervous. He begins
to speak but has trouble with his words at first. My name is, uh, My name is
Doug Thomas and I'm, uh, I'm a British car addict! My drug of choice isn't
your average british leyland stuff. The stuff I like is much harder to find,
allthough I belive it to be cheaper than most English paraphernalia. The drug
I love is Cortinas, there are some variations one of which I also own known
as Anglias. I've also heard it called Prefect, Popular, Pilot, Zepher,
Zodiac, Consul, Capri, Classic, Escort, and even Thames & Bedford. As with
any addiction it's a hard one to kick. But to be perfectly honest I quite
enjoy it! Enough of the drama, I own a 1966 Cortina Delux, a
1966 Cortina Estate Delux, and a 1967 Anglia Delux. I search for N.O.S. parts
at the swapmeets and in Hemmings and have built up quite a few spares. I
belong to the North American English Ford Registry and we boast about 200
members, pretty big group huh! Anyway from time to time I run across parts
for other cars and try to pass them along to other Britcarnutz. Currently I
have 2 sets of pistons for sale 1 is for a 1100 c.c. austin they are Hepolite
Powermax .040 overbore the other set fits MG TC, TD and are also .040 over I
