Well, I finally got around to installing the new carb needles on the
Tiggermobile, and guess what? The jets on the carbs are the wrong size!
The dreaded PO must have put in some sort of modification kit. Anyway, I
am now waiting for new jets - the joy of LBC ownership never ends!
By the way, the strange needle in the Tiggermobile has the number "466"
on it. According to the Haynes SU manual, the correct needle is marked
"SM" and that's what I ordered and was not able to install since the jet
was the wrong size (too small). The manual has no listing for a 466
needle - anyone out there have any idea where this could have come from?
