Reminds me of the time, many years ago, when my TR-3 battery gave up the
ghost in front of a lunch counter. I got the crank out of the boot and
was sticking it in the front of the car when an old man stopped me and
asked me to please wait a minute while he went in and got his friends.
They were all amused to see someone crank starting a car again.
"We ain't seen nobody do that in a long time!"

Also, at one point in time I used to drive my TR-3 to high school with
no battery at all. My freind and I would just push it to get it started
every day after school.
