This year the records were broken ! We had over 725 cars on the field
and another 40 or so in the back lot. Thanks to a few announcements
at motorcycle meets we had a good showing of old scoots this year
too. Hoping for more next year. Maybe a new name for the day?
I finally met George Haynes from the CAR net, as well as several
other Internet folk, Jodo Levine and Dave MacKay. We were so lucky
with the fine day. Our 11th annual meet and it has never rained !
On the bike side I talked with the owners of several VERY nice BSAs and a
really nice red Norton. Beating the bushes for bikes and asking about prices.
There are an amazing number of people out there with BOTH brit cars and
bikes. I hope that a few of us can act as inter-club memebers on the
Ontario scene at the least and build a few bridges.
Won't bore the rest of you out in the other parts of the world. Thanks
to all of you in the States and Canada for making this our biggest event
ever!
