No experiences/problems, but a (misguided ;-) friend of mine
is into AMC cars and along the way came into a large box of
Metropoliton parts. He doesn't understand smallish British
cars as well as brutes like Javlins. In any case he would
like to part company with this box. I rummaged through it
and saw bearings, points, condensors, s-pipes, a red Lucus
tail lens (glass, ~2-3 inches diameter), gaskets, gas
sender/float, and *many* other small items. All items are
NOS and still have the inventory cards attached (IBM punched
cards!).
If anyone is interested in an inexpensive grab bag, let me
know and I'll pass the word (he's talking cheap just to
get rid of it). I'll make a list of the parts and numbers
for anyone who is interested. I also have the address and
phone number for the Metropoliton owners club (at home) if
anyone needs it.
