Very interesting Simon,

        My brother had a '37 Chevy which had a current-reversing
feature which reversed the polarity through the points circuit every
time the ignition switch was turned on. One of the two contacts was
defective, so it would only start every other time it was switch on.

        Don't you think Lucas would have copied that one? What a
great security feature!
