Time to put in a plug for another special tool - for about $50 you can buy a jig that makes drilling bolts for safety wire a no brainer. It seems like a high initial cost, but if you do any drilling at all, you will quickly decide that it's money well spent - I basically don't break drill bits any more, and the holes are always dead center. |
