duPont has pretty much superseded their older water-rinse two-step metal conditioners with "Quick-Prep." It's a phosphatizing prep with an alcohol rather than water carrier. Wipe it on generously, let dry, paint. I use it on everything that comes out of the bead blast cabinet. Can't prove that it works, but it presumably does and doesn't cause any problems (unless you apply with linty towels...). Mike |
