OK gang, I pulled and rebuild my clutch master again. The bore looked and
felt perfect, same with the cylinder. The rubber seal was just tired and
didn't try hard enough to seal against the cylinder. I'll write it off to
bad rubber parts. Interestingly, my rebuilt kit's seal was made in OZ and
was of high quality.
All back together and works perfectly.
Frighteningly, there's almost nothing the matter with my car anymore. This
is a curious state of affairs. I walk around with a half-bemused/half-
confused look on my face.
And now I have these gaping, two-day affairs called WEEKENDS available, that
used to be spent supine on cold concrete...... O whatever shall I do!!
