A C-130 pilot friend of mine (and fellow Brit-car nut) told me a story about a pilot who's crew helped him sneak a V-12 E-type onto a Herc' to bring it back to the states. Somewhere over the Atlantic they got orders to change course to a base other than their original destination. Knowing they were headed for an inspection, they dumped the car into the deep blue. |
