I would just like to add my $0.02 about trunnions on the Spit. Don't use grease
to lubricate them, it breaks down under high pressure ceases to be a lubricant,
the trunnion seizes and then snaps - I know because it happened to me :(.
The lubricant I've been told to use is transmission oil (EP90) - it apparently
can cope with the high pressures encountered in the trunnion screw link.
