Oil issues on TR engines

(Perhaps that should read "oil issues _from_ TR engines" :) )

Issue #1:  Top-end supplementary oil-feed pipe.  All the ones
I've seen involve putting a tee connector between the oil
pressure sender or pipe and the block. I don't like this
fitting-upon-fitting approach, as you get this long thing with
eight different spanner sizes sticking out of your block.   Has
anyone located one with banjo connectors at _both_ ends that can
be attached to one of the other drillings in the gallery?  Does
anyone sell such a thing? 

Issue #2:  Who makes the _best_ spin-on oil-filter adaptor? (With
or without oil cooler fittings) I'm tired of cheezy thick-as-a-
brick aluminum castings that produce little shreds of metal every
time you screw the fittings in, and refuse to buy one.  Anybody
found a quality item?
