  You might check your intake manifold for leaks (if you haven't
already -- sounds like you've done the usual tests).  A leaky 
manifold will lean out the mixture and cause misfiring.  
  However, it usually happens when you lift off the gas (the
throttle plates close, the engine is revving and pumping hard, 
the vacuum is high in the manifold).
