One thing a person might consider if rebuilding wire wheels is to use stainless spokes. I met a guy at Healey Club party once who has a pre-war large MG saloon. He used all stainless spokes. He says he gets marked down at concours for them, but is not sorry he did it. On a daily driver, I would think it would be the way to go. Imagine, no rusted, frozen spokes. No paint or chrome to chip or peel. |
