Fellow fiends:
What with the talk of the heavy traffic on the british-cars net, I
thought I would make it worse by guessing that it was the 1939 German
Grand Prix at the Neurbergring. It was a Mercedes, but it was a
British Driver who piloted it to victory. D**n it but I can't remember
the driver's name (a genuine insult to the man). I guess Adolf
didn't like that, as the team's other driver (also can't remember his
name) dropped out of the race with mechanical trouble.
Is any of this correct?
