Does anybody out there on the list remember (or hopefully have) a
product called "Glass Wax"? It was a pink fluid that came in a
(mostly) pink can. The labeling and artwork look like it was out of
the '40s or '50s. I bought my last can of the stuff about 1980, and
when I finally used it all up, I (stupidly) threw the can away without
writing down the manufacturer's name, address, etc. If anyone has a
can, would you please send me the name, address, etc. I will greatly
appreciate it.
The stuff was literaly a glass wax. You rubbed it on the windshield
(or any other glass), let it dry to a haze, and rubbed it off.
*CLEAN*, slippery windows, with only a little effort (lot of pink dust
to clean up however). Not as easy/neat as Rain X, etc., but it worked
MUCH better, than any of the new stuff, just a little old fashioned
looking, but still a "clasic".
Kind of like British Sports Cars... ;-)

The slogan may belong to Lotus, but I like it. ;-)
