Tom,
Kurtis was an american car...they are pretty expensive in vintage
raceable or restored form. Think of them as american allards.
Turners are lbc s. The early ones came with A series 948 or climax
motors(late 50s early 60s), the Mk11 and Mk111 came with a 1500
Ford. A Mk111 with a 1500 Ford in full race trim is pretty darn
quick. They are round tube frame with fiberglass body. I have seen
drivers as low as $800(pure luck)..to restoration projects in the
$5-6K range...finished cars $12K and up.
