I have heard/read the TR8/Rover 3500 (SD1) fuel injection "brain" can be
modified for much better performance. I am looking for details of these
modifications. Is it just an EPROM swap, or is it more component-level?
(I can handle both quite easily) I haven't seen the innards of one of these
boxes yet, so I am somewhat unsure of what I'm dealing with. Is it
microprocessor based, or a mixture of analog and logic? (a friend said he
fixed a TR8 FI box by replacing a LM724 quad-op-amp! (~$0.29 part!))
I would appreciate any help anyone can give me, including book
recommendations, etc. (I have Tuning Rover V8 Engines on order)
Thank you!

P.S. Any non-"brain-box" related mods are quite welcome too!
